Update: v3.3!

v3.3 is out! This version added two new elements: Salt and Salt Water. Briefly, here are the descriptions:

Salt:
-Interacts with water to produce Salt Water
-Melts Ice

Salt Water:
-Sinks in Water, floats in Oil
-Magma and Fire cause it to turn to Steam
-When it comes into contact with Plant, the Plant "dies", turning into Sand
-Melts Ice

We thought this was a significant enough change to deserve a .1 to itself, thus we are now at 3.3! Hope y'all enjoy it! As always, feedback is appreciated. Email us at: idkjava@gmail.com!

  1. I'm very happy with your app, thanks for everyting, but just as a suggestion for new users it might be helpful to have a small description along with how to find it on the market on your page somewhere... I know blogger should let you do that pretty easy.

  2. I cannot find this app at all. tried a barcode from androlib, and also looked for it manually in the market. if you look up the elements, you get an app for the periodic table. the barcode just gave a cannot find this app message. where can i get this? it looks like it might be the best falling sand app on android market.

  3. I have the same problem. I have the Motorola Backflip, and I can't find this app on the Android Market. Is there an APK file I can download?

  4. That's what I want to know. I've tried looking up idkjava, the elements and sand.falling.opengl on the market with my hero. Sent an email explaining that, and their only response was to search for it. I've tried every way possible without luck. I asked them for a download of it outside of the market and they have not responded. Makes me think. The deb's don't care. I'd love to try it, and if its as good as it seems, I'd pay for it. Problem is that when you search the elements. On market it comes up with the periodic table. The barcode on androlib doesn't even work. Can anyone please upload the apk? Seems the deb's don't care enough to.

  5. Sorry guys, we are kinda busy right now. The reason you can't find it is because it needs 1.6+. Sorry, we do care, normally we are quick in responding but we have overload right now with AP exams and finals.

  6. Absolutely love this app, wish it was updated more frequently but I can see the difficulty in doing so. Probably my favorite time consumer on my Android, if there is something I would like to see is maybe a 'pressure' generator to force liquids up through crevases built by wall or C-4, etc etc.. but at any rate, love it!
